Set on a tri foot base featuring tapered fluting which resonates in the art deco movement. The hilt is realized in a series of subtly contrasting brass and bronze bands. This design is also inspired by the mid-century French Neoclassical movement, specifically in the manner of Quinet. Shown in reduced-height reading lamp proportions and standard.

The non ferrous detailing has been lightly antiqued while the main steel body has been oxidized prior to a statuary bronze patination using our unique formula. The whole piece is then sealed with a satin clear finish and waxed. As with all handmade objects, slight variations in the finished surface are to be expected if not sought out.
